Director's Commentary

This piece stemmed from an animated GIF I came across. I managed to track down the original footage, and decided to put my own spin on the idea of a hypnotized Sasha Grey. The only problem was, I couldn’t decide if I wanted to use a classic ‘swinging pendant’ as the hypnosis prop or indulge my brainwashing proclivities and go with a visor/earphone combination. Then, I came to my senses and did both, which you can see here and in the companion piece to this animation, Resisting.
