Another image that I did almost nothing to other than play with the color a bit. I was so taken with the facial expression of the subject and didn’t want anything to get in the way.
An early effort that I’m still quite proud of. I was quite proud of the subtle manipping of the subjects hands from the original photo into their poses here.
I remember having a lot of phone composting in the props and playing with fx for the audio waves coming out of the speakers. I think this image featured my first tip-of-the-hat to an MC author, the legendary Sara H.
I don’t think there’s any actual manipping going on here. I just remember being very fond of the subject’s facial expression and the pose of the hypnotist.
Of all the solo-POV pics I’ve done, I’m probably most happy with this one. The pose, facial expression, and fx all came together exactly as I hoped they would.
An image I had seen in an EMC context before and since. Its not quite as ubiquitous as the two blondes wearing the Sony headphones, but its been around the block.
My -very- first manip ever. At that time, I had a folder of pics that I’d imagined stories to go along with, but this was the first one I actually dropped into Photoshop and put words-to-image.
