Director's Commentary
I believe the original intent with this image was to actually depict, within the photo, the struggle that is often only rendered in the captions that I write. I liked the idea of the source material reflecting that aspect of the caption. The callout to ‘Wildfire Industries’ is an eponymous reference to the manip artist Wildfire, who I was friendly with.
