Director's Commentary
This is one of the earliest images I collected for the purpose of manipping. The hypnotist model was originally holding a set of jaw-wideners that, when you squinted, looked very much like the outline of skiing goggles. I came back to it years later when I knew I could pull off, technically, the image I had seen in my head the first time I laid eyes on it.
