Director's Commentary
The very first image I worked on that featured ‘squick.’ I loved the pose and facial expression of the model but couldn’t think of any plausible way to include the, normally electronic, mind control technology one would expect. I think the film Slither, which featured a scene of a girl in a bathtub being attacked by alien slugs, must have been playing on my mind. I enjoyed the technical challenge of dealing with the semi-transparent glass and trying to get the slugs sitting behind it, visually.
